    Default Android Rooting

Anyone here root their Android devices?

I rooted my Galaxy S2, Asus tablet and LG Optimus F7.

Hoping for contributions to this Thread.

IMO Rooting an Android device is essential if your phone is an older model, a mid-tier device or top of the line to free it from constraints.

Dramatically increased battery life and internet speed are the two instant most noticeable differences.

You can remove bloatware apps that use precious resources or memory, or you can lock them or freeze them so they won't eat up Ram or CPU. So, if you accidentally locked something that messed up your phone, you can just restore it.

You can block Ads from Apps.

Here are some Apps for entry level Android modding -

Super SU (Better than standard Superuser)

    Ram Booster

    Root Battery Saver

    Set CPU

    CPU Overclock

    Root App Delete

    Volume+ Root

    GPS Lock

It's easy. Download a One Click Root program, install the drivers for your phone onto your PC, hook up your device, and your Rooted in 10 minutes.

I believe everyone should free their Android devices and unlock its full potential!

Tomorrow I will post the name of the Rooting program I use. I have it installed on my work PC. It's the easiest one.

I've never tried it on Android. I used to do my iPhones all the time. Basically, I had to root my iPhone so I could get it to do what an Android does. I still may try it sometime. I have a tablet that runs Android.

I have been meaning to do this and this thread inspired me to do so today, but I have been striking out so far. Nothing I am trying is working.

I'll post a complete Guide to entry level Rooting. Just gimme til the weekend.

Note that you must have the drivers for your phone or tab. You may wanna download them now onto your PC and I'll walk you through the Root process. Make sure you have a USB cable too.

Easy Task Killer would be helpful too, Download it now.

    Root Guide is coming!

I've rooted quite a few phones, my current S3 is not rooted though. It's easy enough to do, and it can help with battery life and allows you to overclock. Personally, I enjoy getting rid of the bloatware forced down your throat by your provider.

Some Rooting methods are longer than others IIC and more knowledge is needed, like Cyanogen mod which completely alters your OS with a different version of Android. Some of these methods are not safe and the chance of bricking your phone or device is much greater.

Do you guys think I could root my phone?
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
