My prediction is we don't select a player until Friday

Check out the Mile High Report page. It's someone's opinion that Denver could move up in the 1st round to take a QB (Bortles). Dumber than a bag of hammers when we are in the "win now" window with PM. It's either going to be an ILB, CB or OG/OT with our first pick, regardless if we move up or back.

I am stoked

My prediction is that regardless of who we draft, most of this board won't be happy but will be sure they could have done a better job themselves.

In a matter of hours, the Broncos will add their newest star, a highly paid scrub or nobody at all.

"We'll concentrate mostly on 31," Broncos general manager John Elway said. "And we'll look around to see if we can trade up or down."

Trade up from their No. 31 selection during the NFL draft's first round Thursday night and the Broncos can get that star, or at least a 2014 starter.

Trade back and the Broncos won't pick until Friday, when the NFL conducts the second and third rounds of its draft.

They better not - i will be pretty pissed off at UK time 0300 only to learn that JFE is unhatching his latest master plan. LOL - would love to see some block buster moves though - Broncos draft up to low 20's to get Mosely would be good - But if JFE decides not to draft in round 1 - if Bortles falls to the second round, an extra pick on Friday might be just as good.

Draft meltdowns are THE BEST. The absolute best.

Get the feeling the Broncos really have eyes for CJ Mosley. Trouble is, so do about 15 other teams. Gonna take a LOT to move up to get him.

Brock Osweiler - QB - Broncos

According to the Denver Post, the Broncos still "really like" No. 2 QB Brock Osweiler. There have been the faintest of whispers that the Broncos would consider a quarterback on day one of the draft, but it's not going to happen for the league's preeminent "win now" franchise. The No. 57 overall pick of the 2012 draft, Osweiler has attempted only 20 regular-season passes.
