Default Shane Skov May Go Undrafted

From the Draft Insider. I'm just putting this out there because some are wanting the Broncos to take Skov in the mid to late rounds of the draft.

According to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline, "a number of teams" believe there's a "real chance" Stanford ILB Shayne Skov will go undrafted.

Skov had a big college name, but lacks NFL-caliber athleticism and has injury red flags. "He’s a good guy but slow with major medical red flags," said one college scouting director. "The whole (pre-draft) process has hurt him." Skov didn't work out at the Combine. He ran a 5.09 forty at Stanford's Pro Day.

Would be shocked if undrafted. I doubt he makes it past round 5. He plays great last season. Coming back from injury. I know he is banged up right now and has not done any workouts for teams but he is a leader and a hard nosed player. I see him falling but not out of the entire draft.

    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

We should take a chance on him if he falls that far. Id pick him in round 4 but id also like us to take him in rounds 6 or 7 if he fell that far.

I'm a huge fan of Skov. Great instincts, tough, and a leader. The only question with him is whether he's a 2 or 3 down LBer in the NFL.
