Couldn’t Bran have like warged into a bird and done some recon before the dragons were ambushed? I just have no idea what that character is useful for
Tough crowd.
My enjoyment of this season is waning now that I realize how crap a job they've done.![]()
Just petty minor gripes i admit. I will mourn the loss of this Show.

Womp, womp. End well, this will not. I guess I will give in to the inevitable and give up any expectations for the end of the show. From here on out, no more complaints. I am only here for the memes.

With the final season of “Game of Thrones” ready to debut this month, showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have the near-impossible task of ending HBO’s fantasy blockbuster series on a note that pleases millions of fans across the world. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the two creators admitted they’re worried about letting fans down with the ending, even if they are fully aware that’s going to happen on some scale. To avoid the backlash, Benioff and Weiss already have set their plans for series finale night.
“We’ll be in an undisclosed location, turning off our phones and opening various bottles,” Weiss said. “At some point, if and when it’s safe to come out again, somebody like [HBO’s ‘Thrones’ publicist Mara Mikialian] will give us a breakdown of what was out there without us having to actually experience it.”
Added Benioff, “I plan to be very drunk and very far from the internet.”
The show is a victim of it's own success in some ways. For the first few seasons it was able to meander, cherry picking the best parts of the books and focusing on character development and relationships and being brutal in its portrayal of violence to push the drama and get people invested. But in reality, actors are getting older and George R.R. Martin couldn't be bothered to finish the story properly while they waited. While I would love for this to be more like the first 4-5 seasons, I realize that just isn't in the cards at this point. I'd rather have a conclusion one way or the other before Bran's balls drop any more.
While I would love to have more development this season, I don't mind the cliff notes version that it feels like because it is a means to an end. I'm still entertained most of the time, and my complaints would just result in more episodes and more time wasted. At this point it's probably best to end it as cleanly as they can before they lose more investment in the show, from both a viewer and financial standpoint. Its like if Breaking Bad went a few seasons too long and had to wrap it up quickly. I will miss GoT when its gone, and I am just going to enjoy it for what it is at this point.
Wowey Wow Wow omg

Great episode.
God damn that felt good.
I feel less sure about where this will end now.
