They were talking this episode about not being blamed for the sins of their fathers (which I thought was more appropriate for Dany and Tyrion than Jon).

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

We may have talked about this before, but how comes he burns? Is Dany special because she's borne of incest (ok, that sounded bad), with both parents being Targaryans?

My theory is that being closer to Valantys triggered the magic and also allowed the dragons to be born.

Wow, things are heating up. Great episode. That was the 49 minute episode, but I'll say they packed a lot into it.

So, that episode was insane. Truly phenomenal. Classic.

    I'm a very pleased viewer.

Ditto, other than hating that we are 60% through this season already (see, I like stats period) and hoping I don't see any headlines, tweets or posts about what's going to happen from those leaked episodes.

I thought the same thing. If this was a "normal" season there would be more drawn out episodes of them traveling to the battles and more talking about strategy. Now its like, "Jon, what would you do?" then BAM! Dragon fire bitches! The Iron Bank is going to be pissed.

We don't need any more travelogues or character development, we know these characters. Meat and potatoes time!

Good point. From that aspect, while this season will be over nearly a month sooner, you are right, each episode is more jam packed.

More likely, Jon will do something that will prove himself a Targ.
Lyanna was kidnapped by Rhaegar after she was betrothed to Robert Berathian. That's what started the whole rebellion to overthrow Aerys (the mad king) started by Robert. John Snow was the product of rape by Rhaegar of Lyanna. Technically, that makes Danaerys John's aunt. Robert killed Rhaegar during the rebellion.
