I didnt mind the last episode, thought they ended it ok, didn't like the final season though. WAY too rushed.

I did mention Dany marching her armies North to Winterfell to make the stand against the NK so, yes. Better yet, she would’ve had the southern armies that she’d just defeated to help her (I doubt she’d have executed them all it would’ve been more like the battle after Highgarden, bend the knee and live). Arya would’ve been at Winterfell regardless as would the NK to get Bran. Melisandre would’ve gone there also so I don’t think my scenario would’ve changed except that she’d have had 3 dragons and the night king none.

Got my "Did you mean to do that?" email from HBO last night after I canceled the service.

Damn, you aren’t even waiting for the Deadwood movie to come out on the 31st? I’m pretty stoked about that.

Nah, GOT was the only reason I subscribed to HBO Now.

We subscribed a couple of months ago, binged 1-7 in time for season 8 to start.

I watched the last 4 movies in the Harry Potter series yesterday to remind me how a fantastic series is supposed to end.
I thought, other than the first 2 episodes, that they really shit the bed with the writing and character development.
90% of the character's actions were shoehorned into the 6 episode plot they had written.
But... They shit the bed in the prettiest way because it looked fantastic while they were doing it...
I love this show and was really wary when they said they were jamming 2-3 seasons into one 6 episode season.
Season 8 had it's moments but I was pretty disappointed overall.
