Its really too hard to narrow down the last 4 but those are easily in my top 10.
I saw The Crow like 15 times when I was in high school. I also LOVE The Prestige, and I'm glad someone else thinks highly of it. It's tremendously underrated, in my opinion.

It's hard for me to pick favorites. I love some movies when I watch them for the first time, but there aren't many movies I enjoy watching multiple times.

Favourite is correct English.. English is the spoken language in the colonies, yes?

I agree with most all above, here's 5 good ones not mentioned yet:

    Escape From Alcatraz
    Planet of the Apes (68)
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Apocalypse Now
    Jeremiah Johnson

    This is my Buff list:

    Gladiator (I AM entertained)
Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption
    Godfather
    Django Unchained
    Casablanca

My "I would watch that anytime" list
    Return of the Jedi
    Return of the King
    American Gangster
    Good Will Hunting
    Ocean's Eleven

    For laughs
    Clerks
    Mallrats
    Major League
    Van Wilder
    Road Trip
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Spygame is one of the most underrated films ever - so many of my friends have never even heard of it - Redford and Pitt are briliantly cast

A top 5 is tough. I know #1 for me is Reservoir Dogs, but I could probably have a 10 movie tie for 2nd place.

    Big Lebowski
    Heat
    Goodfellas
    Caddy Shack
    Blazing Saddles
    Full Metal Jacket (edit)

(I pick favorites by how many times I can re-watch them - I dont really like re-watching movies/shows or re-reading books - I already know the ending and there are an endless number of both out there for me not to have to)

that's an interesting evaluation system. I put Shawshank Redemption down, but I don't really like rewatching it anymore. (seen too many times I guess)
