Hey MO, what position was Tebow playing by his 3rd year... I've looked but can't find the answer.

And Elway has that problem tagged to his resume, just like McDaniels has Tebow tagged to his. I don't remember disputing that.

Smith played in more games than Tebow.

Conventionally, yes. But sport is result and narrative. So no.

Which result and narrative are you talking about? The team result and narrative or the Tebow result and narrative? He was an all-time bad quarterback on a mediocre team.

Sport is story and results matter. He brought that.

A clinician would poo poo a Tebow. A fan would celebrate the story they shared with him. Both are correct.

Yes, the story might be incidental to Tebow. But it is what it is.

No. He was so bad that winning was worse than being caught cheating.

I'm kinda shocked that spygate only got 7 votes. That was far and away the worst thing he did here. The Raiders game was a single game late in what was already a lost season. The Cutler trade was a great move. And Tebow, despite all the hot takes Mo will give you, led us to an exciting season and a playoff win. That's more than a lot of first round picks will give you. Definitely more than Lynch will ever give us.

His worst roster move was using a second round pick on Dick Quinn. At least Alphonso graded out around where we picked him. Quinn was a complete head-scratcher.

I agree entirely with the spygate incident.

That was my vote. Its a disgrace to this teams history, and by far worse than a blow out loss, there have been enough of those, but getting caught cheating is pretty shameful.

That was the only time I have ever felt embarrassed to be a fan of a team, organization, etc. Losing isn't embarrassing, it happens, some team must lose every game and sometimes there will be blowouts... But cheating? Come on man, you're cheating and you STILL can't win? Pathetic, no integrity, and just a poor human being.

The only reason he won enough games to get to the playoffs as well as embarrass the Squeelers was that DCs didn't play their defense right. If more DCs had played the way the Cheatriots did, the Broncos wouldn't have gotten a whiff of the playoffs with Tebow at QB.

McDouch was the laughing stock of the league when he traded up in the second to grab R. Quinn.

I remember watching the draft and the annalists were like WTF!!??
    Bill Williamson:

"The Broncos went from one of the more attractive organizations in the NFL to one in total disarray. McDaniels will go down as one of the most reviled figures in Denver sports history".
