Is he projected to go late in the second or third round? I don't want a fourth-round quarterback.

No. Probably much later. But then again...it depends on how a team values him.

You shouldn't want any QB at this point

I am just saying if we do pick a quarterback, I don't want to wait until the third day to do it.

The fact that Stephen Morris will have a private workout with the Broncos tells me we may not be happy with Brock Osweiler.

It doesn't say that at all.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I wouldn't mind us having a couple good QBs after Manning left. At least all of our eggs wouldn't be in one basket.

They are going to draft/sign a quarterback every year. They want three or four in camp every year. And drafting one/talking to one doesn't mean they are unhappy with another one.

And I think that's the best way to go about it. If we put anything into 1 guy and he fails, we'll be picking our next one with a top 5 pick.

Which means one bad year and a chance to grab more than a QB. As we would be drafting in that top five spot for all rounds. Could pick up as many as four eventual starters in one year, maybe more.

Every team is going to have a down year from time to time. Kind of like a forest fire the new growth is strong after one.
