Too many to list, and the list could be quite embarrassing.
The remastered version of Pretty Hate Machine came out a few years ago and sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see them and Soundgarden at Red Rocks in July.
Outside of me and MO, I don't think there are many Oasis fans here. They are a difficult group to like but I dug that British resurgence with Blur, Pulp, Suede, etc.
The opening guitar riff in Head Like a Hole always makes me want to run through a wall. I get amped just thinking about it!
1989. I was in the sack with some random chick and "The Power" by Snap came on the radio. For some reason...everytime I shagged a girl since then, that song pops into my head.
The first time I was ever truly bit by the lovebug, I remember having a thing for "Always" by Atlantic Starr...yeah...cheesy. lol
Other than that...it would have to be "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy. Song came out in 1987 and that was probably the most memorable year of my youth. To this day, I can still remember and recite every lyric to that song by heart.
There are a couple of bands that have a similiar sound that i mentioned in another thread some time ago. If you like Oasis you will probably dig White Lies, Junius, or One Night Only (albeit with a 80's pop vibe).
Another great and underrated band from the early nineties.
*******-A Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova take me back...
Winds of change- Scorpions
Summertime- Dj jazzy Jeff and the fresh prince
In Your Wildest Dreams- Moody Blues
Enjoy the Silence- Depeche Mode
Anything from Def Lepard Hysteria album
Nothing Else Matters- Metallica
My dad used to sing this song all the time when I was little.
