He's electric! With sproles in town he's expendable -would love that move. I'm sorta down on Hillman he's serviceable when he gets outside tackle but lacks up the middle compared to Ball IMO

I think Ball is the better runner, but Moreno is definitely better on 3rd downs being a better blocker and receiver.

He's got a lot of tread on his tires and is more of a pounder like I think we have with Ball. We need that 3rd down RB that can catch and block well.

Morenos not getting any love on the open market.

Might as well bring him back home Mr Elway!

    I wouldn't trade for him.

Moreno played well for us and if Elway brought him back fine but moving on from him isn't as big of a loss as losing Decker.

Elway can probably come up with someone better from the draft.

Were you mad on the opening play when he jumped on the loose ball while Peyton just watched?

Elway found Ball and Hillman in the draft, I'd say he's batting .500. We already know Brown is gifted.

You never want your QB (especially one as unathletic as Manning) throwing his body around after a turnover. It's not worth the 2 points we gave up to risk him getting injured like that. I had no issue with him not going after the ball.

    You missed the point completely.

I think your point is that if he were mad at Moreno for not chasing down the pick 6, he should also have been Manning for not going after the loose ball. If that is your point I disagree with it, for the reason I gave.

To a point yes, however the main point was that he was mad for Moreno not chasing down the pick 6 yet gave no credit for KnowMO jumping on the ball and limiting the damage to 2 pts rather than 6 by the defense as Manning was doing nothing about it. In other words, i think he was cherry picking something on Moreno without giving credence to the other things he did do right.

Fair enough. I just don't think it's necessary to bring up that Manning was doing nothing about it, because IMO he was correct to do nothing about it. Especially against a defense like that who would have relished the chance to take a free shot at him.

I disagree with you but have always known Manning to be that way. I guess just watching guys like Elway for so many years gave me an appreciation to a QB like that than someone of Manning's mold. I just want guys who play for every play even if it means they might get hurt. Just how i feel about that and its a reason why one of the most iconic plays by John was the helicopter spin because you could see just how bad he wanted it. But that was low on my totem pole in this example as it was more about giving Moreno credit rather than taking it away from Manning even though i already knew how he was in those situations.

I do like MJD too though. He has been buried under ten feet of crap in Jacksonville for years. Bet he woiuld shine once again in an offense like ours. If it doesnt work out with Moreno then Id more than happy to get MJD.
