Davii is right. It was hijacked, they turned the plane around and got overtaken at some point by the passengers, nosedived and are nestle in an underwater mountain range. The coolest conspiracy theory I have heard is that the Chinese were using the flight to test new engine cloaking technology.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — A Malaysian investigation into the missing flight 370 has concluded that one or more people with flying experience switched off communications devices and deliberately steered the airliner off-course, a Malaysian government official involved in the investigation said Saturday.

The official called the disappearance a hijacking, though he said no motive has been established and no demands have been made known. It's not yet clear where the plane ended up, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media.

The official said a deliberate takeover of the plane was no longer a theory. "It is conclusive," he said, indicating that investigators were ruling out mechanical failure or pilot error in the disappearance.

Isn't there proof at least four people aboard used stolen passports? I too think that it was hijacked and a few passengers got all Rambo on their asses and the plane went down. The passengers certainly had to outnumber the hijackers. Maybe some got brave. The world may never know.

This really is becoming one of the great mysteries of the 21st century. Im curious about the lack of cell phone communications from passengers during this alleged 5 or 6 hour flight. Maybe someone can clear this up. On 9/11, iirc people were communicating via cellphones from those planes.

I think it crashed into the ocean. Planes and boats have been sinking in the oceans never to be found for generations.... and boats for much longer. The transmitter is odd, but that maybe just what it is....odd.

Hijacking/stealing/pirating the plane CAN fit the scenario, but so can other theories. There is no way they constructed a runway somewhere for the purpose of this one hijacking....so they would have to of used a runway already large enough to land such a large plane, and have that runway in a location that wasn't within the radar range of the military or other airports.

So the "pirating is the only answer" may fit the transmitter, but it doesn't fit everything else that goes along with a missing plane.

Then there is this! A Sharknado would explain the transmitter going out (the tornado interference)..and the missing plane.... sharks brought it down. See... there is ALWAYS a better explanation.

I'm pretty sure that class of plane has two transponders.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Default Malaysian jet probe sharpens focus on passengers, crew as new clues emerge

Investigators trying to solve the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines jetliner have sharpened their focus on passengers and crew after concluding that the Boeing 777 had its communications deliberately disabled and was airborne for hours after it vanished, Malaysia's leader said Saturday.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said at a press conference that investigators now know that the airliner's communications devices were deliberately disabled and that its last signal came about 7 1/2 hours after takeoff, meaning it could have ended up as far as Kazakhstan or deep in the southern Indian Ocean.

"In view of this latest development, the Malaysian authorities have refocused their investigation into the crew and passengers on board," Najib said, stressing they were still investigating all possibilities as to why the plane deviated so drastically from its original flight path.

I have heard more than once that if a plane ends up deep in the ocean, the transponder signal is too weak to find it unless you have pretty much pinpointed the surface location.

I think we can help find the plane by posting its picture on milk cartons.

    Maybe issue an Amber Alert.

Big difference with a plane over highly populated US soil and open sea or sparsely populated land. Altitude plays a HUGE roll as well, even when over land. Cellular networks are line of site with limited range.
