Because Trev was better at Will than Woodyard, and they wanted to try and keep Woodyardon the field if they could. Unfortunately, Woodyard coudln't keep the Mike. From what I've read, Woodyard kept putting himself out of position on the field. He wasn't making the right reads, and missing his assignments. Great guy, just was beat out by his teammate for playing time.

I understand that, I'm just wondering if Trevathan would have been good at Mike. I don't think the drop in play from Danny to Woody would be much, based on Woody's play in 12'. However, I wondered if Trevathan might have been a lot better at Mike than Woody.

Probably...but Danny is a borderline Pro-Bowl WLB. I like that they kept him there

I love Danny there, I just wasn't convinced from my easy chair that it put our best LB's on the field.

I hope the NY media has learned their lesson and they all keep their cameras rolling in the rain storms.
