Because the Buccaneers talked about trading him, nothing related to that belongs in this thread.

Even if he does...is he still "the best"? I didn't see too many TB games last year, but from what I saw and what I've come across...he was pretty much just a good corner. Maybe that had something t do with coming off the knee injury, but that's a risk at the 11-12 that he'll be asking for

Tad bit overrated in my opinion. He's obviously very good but i think his highlight reel in NY has basically paved the way for him as i didnt think he was nearly as impactful in TB.

His problem was being inv a zone defense. He is elite in a man to man scheme, but not zone.

Assuming this is gospel, the last time we saw him in a man to man scheme was 3 seasons and a knee surgery ago. Is 12 mil a worthy gamble that he can get back to that level of elite? Not sure I would do it. But someone will.

Bucs continue to play QB roulette, signing McCown to a 2 year deal

They just want a veteran quarterback on the roster. That does not mean he will replace Mike Glennon as the starter.

Cowboys lost Ware, but signed Mincey. I call that a win for us, no offense to Mincey

True, but they're paying him $5 million a year. That's a lot of bank for a guy to back up Glennon.

They probably want them to compete for the starting job in training camp.

Golden Tate to the Lions; five year deal. I liked him as a potential Decker/Holliday replacement, but I guess that's out.

I dont care about Tate too much. I think Caldwell can fill his role.

Jacoby Jones off the table as well, back to the Ravens for four years.
