Let's see, we now have backups at T and C. The only glaring holes remain at LG, MLB, CB and S. The signing of Montgomery just provides depth behind Ramirez IMO.
The switch of Franklin to LG remains a possibility only if they don't addess the position in the draft. I personally hope the team can come away with C.J. Mosley & Gabe Jackson with their 1st & 2nd round selections respectively. Massive upgrade at two positions, and lets Franklin remain at RT.
I love what Elway & company have done thusfar. They literally can go into the draft and select the BPA in round one or even entertain a trade down into the 2nd round if the guy they want isn't there.
May can't get here fast enough!

I have a bad feeling Knighton follows Jack to Oakland. Look for the Raiders to return to the top of the division within two years ....ugh, I just threw up a little in my mouth.

They have cap room, and I'm persuaded their defense would me much better next year. Then draft Cooper from Alabama and you possibly have an elite talent at WR to pair with your budding QB. I think if Del Rio can get the right OC the sky couldbe the limit.

Certainly a possibility for Knighton. We'll have to see how it plays out. Funny that the FA situation has taken a back seat to the coaching situation at this point.

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Damn! There must have really been some serious issues behind the scenes. For a player to openly say we doesn't want to be here in this way speaks volumes IMO. Some players siding with Fox & JDR (Pot Roast, M. Jackson) and others with Elway (Harris). Guessing there will be more of this type of stuff filtering out.
If that is the case, it's really time for Elway to clean house. Unless O. Franklin is in the Fox camp, I guessing he moves up on the teams priority list.
