I really like the idea of Ware.

As a DE? I would rather see Allen or Peppers.

Not if they run the scheme they ran last year when Miller and Phillips were healthy and on the field together.

When Miller came back they were basically running a 3-4.

    Miller-Wolfe-Vickerson/Pot Roast-Jackson-Phillips
    Woodyard/Lenon-Trevathan

    Can you imagine
    Miller-Wolfe-Vickerson/Pot Roast-Jared Allen-DaMarcus Ware
    Skov-Trevathan

I like that a lot. :forrestgump:

jared allen's still the guy. . . ware is breaking down, and peppers is just plain older than dirt. . . i wouldn't count on either of them rebounding after both saw their production drop off a cliff last year. . . not sure either one brings anything to the table besides a recognizable name, at this point. . . allen's the one who still has enough life in his legs to live up to his rep. . .

It seems like Ware has been in the league forever, but I guess he is 3 years younger than Peppers.

This is exactly my line of thinking. Allen is the best choice to me. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to Ware, but at what cost? I'd stay away from Peppers, personally. I'd rather just re-sign Phillips and hope Quant Smith develops.

So after doing all your research, who do you think we should sign?
