Depending on what happens in free agency, we could see Denver go the other way and trade up.

You think so Lan? It's hard to imagine Elway giving up draft picks to move up. He hoards them like good GM's usually do.

This is a deep draft, if you're ever gonna find teams willing to move down it's this year. I will never understand why so many fans are against the idea of moving up.

    Draft
    1st round— Cooper Dejean CB
    2nd round— Jack Sawyer OLB
    3rd round— Will Shipley RB
    4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
    5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
    6th round— Cash Jones RB
    7th round— Carson Steele RB

Because it costs you picks. Unless you can move up and only give up your 6 or 7 round picks, like you said it is deep and perhaps with that 3 rd or 4th you may be able to get a solid ST player or maybe a starter.

The pick will b allen robinson, wr, penn state. We will solve de and the secondary via fa and get either wr or mlb at #31...unless we move out of the pick. Robinson will be the one of the best wrs from this class when its all said and done.

When was the last time a Super Bowl participant traded down for a high Round 2 pick? I don't remember any team doing that. They usually stay put.

If a player is expected to be picked early and for some reason is still available 10 spots later a team will want to get him before someone else does. That was what the Jaguars did to pick Blaine Gabbert in 2011. Now that trade looks stupid because Gabbert turned out to be a bust. They certainly could have used the second round pick they gave the Redskins.

I've heard some say Elway isn't a great drafter and shanny was pretty darn good. Idk. I really don't pay attention to the draft because I rarely watch college FB. If I remember correctly if the person shanny truly want wasn't available, he then seemed to take the BAP. Should we take the best available player approach even if its a position we may not need? Just a question - not a statement
