Default 'Ghostbusters' Actor Harold Ramis Dies at 69

Harold Ramis, best known for appearing in "Ghostbusters" and directing comedic films "Groundhog Day," "National Lampoon's Vacation," and "Caddyshack," died at the age of 69 early Monday.

Ramis died from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, which is a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels, according to his wife Erica Mann.

I am pretty bummed about him. I was looking forward to seeing all old crew get back together for Ghostbusters 3.

Rick Moranis wouldn't have been in it either. He doesn't act anymore. Wanna see a sad/uplifting story, read his.

Yeah, kinda makes me a little upset for Murray for delaying the movie and now its too late for that group to get back together. He can try and say he was holding out for artistic purposes, but he was basically just too in love with working with Wes Anderson to be bothered with anything else. Also when you do not one but TWO Garfield movies you can't tell me you couldn't have done Ghostbusters III. Dan Akroyd has had the script done for years.

Anyway Harold Ramis was great. Besides Ghostbusters there was some great stuff he did on SCTV but I will always like him best for the movies he directed.

EDIT: Also Stripes is still one of my favorite comedies ever. He also directed the first Vacation Movie which is in my top 3. RIP.
