Default Survey: Players trust Brady most in clutch

According to ESPN.com's NFL Nation Confidential anonymous player survey:
Tom Brady is the clear-cut choice as the quarterback any team would want in the huddle with two minutes remaining and the Super Bowl on the line.

Brady received 128 of a possible 320 votes, outdistancing Peyton Manning, who tallied 86 votes.

Assume it's current players, but otherwise--yep...

Agree with the survey though. Most clutch current QB is Brady...

I'll repost this here because it fits.

Pretty interesting post from a guy named Kishzilla over at the other joint. I don't think he'd mind me reposting here since I'm giving him the credit.
Or like when Brady went 18 games in a row and then lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl? That's the most egregious Choke job of all time, and the supposed "Mr. Clutch" on his last possession and three time-outs couldn't get a single yard. If Brady is so clutch, why has he done nothing but lose big games since the Superbowls from a decade ago?

IMO this whole "Brady is clutch" Mantra is horse crap. Here are the scores from his Playoff exits:

    13 28 Baltimore
    17 21 Giants
21 28 Sanchez and the damn JETS
    14 33 Baltimore
    14 17 Giants
    34 38 Indy
    13 27 Denver

For an average of 18 points a game, and those aren't even all Brady's offense lol

If he's so damned clutch, why is it that lack of production from his offense is the reason they exit the post-season with losses pretty much every year since 2004?

Also, 100% of respondents said they would rather be in NY with Peyton this week. 0% preferred to spend this week at the gay bar with Brady.

I don't have a point or an agenda. I just found the results interesting. I would have posted the same if the chosen QB had been Peyton, Rodgers or Brees because the poll results hadn't been posted yet.

That's funny, I'd think they'd chose someone else since Brady hasn't been clutch without Adam Vinatieri.

I know my team's season is over. I don't believe I am living in the past because the article I posted just came out TODAY!! Didn't realize that the Patriots loss in the PO precluded me from coming to this forum to discuss football etc.

You will notice I didn't post this in smack and/or engage in any trash talk. I merely posted an article I found interesting because I enjoy the intelligent discussions that usually take place on this forum.

They also voted him high on the list for throwing a good Super Bowl party this Sunday.

Pull up all the other QBs in the current NFL over Brady's entire career and look at the comparison. Which QB is more successful? Which QB put his team in position to compete for the SB more times? Clutch isn't about who wins the big game every time. Clutch in the NFL is more about making the big plays more often. To finish in the NFL is no easy task and just considering Peyton Manning, finishing (a.k.a. making it to and winning the SB) is more of a TEAM accomplishment. Unfortunately, all the credit goes to the QB, which I think is very unfair. Peyton Manning has won more personal accolades than every QB to ever play. But the one thing that weighs on his "legacy", is fricken Super Bowl wins. Teams win Super Bowls. Not individuals. Not Offense. Not Defense. TEAMS.

It depends on what the score is when the QB comes onto the field. I mean, Tom is GREAT at getting into FG range! AFC CHampionships, and SUper Bowls, alllllll come down to Tom getting his team into FG range. But then, losing in Super Bowls and playoffs when his team needs TDs. So yes, Tom is great at getting into FG range and letting Adam Vinatari boot the ball through the snow.

Was the Welker drop Brady's fault? Again, Team... and now I guess, play calling by the offensive coordinator.
