I thought the NFL just got done bending over backwards (or forwards) to say that they wouldn't judge players based on their sexual preferences. I guess two passed out chicks at a time was going a bit too far out of the mainstream then.

Former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper has been accused of being a serial rapist.

Sharper is suspect of seven rapes and drugging 11 people in four different states, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

A five-time Pro Bowl selection, Sharper has been formally charged with two rapes involving drugs in Los Angeles.

Law enforcement officials have asked a Los Angeles judge to raise Sharper's bond from $200,000 to $10 million. A ruling has been postponed. He is free on bail.

Huh? He is free on bail? No freakin way. No way did they let this guy go.

The appalling case of Darren Sharper, the former NFL player accused of raping several women, continues to grow.

The New Orleans Police Department announced today that it has issued an arrest warrant for Sharper, who stands accused of raping two women in New Orleans on September 23. He faces two charges of aggravated rape, as does an acquaintance of Sharper’s, Erik Nunez.

One of the women said she met Sharper at an event for Saints players, and that Sharper gave her a drink. She says that after she drank it there is a gap in her memory of several hours, and that the next morning she woke up with Sharper on top of her, sexually assaulting her.

NEW ORLEANS (CBS Las Vegas/AP) — Former NFL safety Darren Sharper is accused of nine rapes in five states after arrest warrants were issued in New Orleans Thursday for him and another man, accusing them of raping two women last year.

Sharper also is under investigation in sexual assault cases in Florida, Nevada and Arizona and has pleaded not guilty to rape charges in Los Angeles.

The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office and New Orleans Sex Crimes detectives obtained the warrants for Sharper, 38, and Erik Nunez, 26. Each faces two counts of aggravated rape, Remi Braden, a police department spokeswoman, said in a news release.

Wow! A serial rapist. I'm guessing after this is all said and done that he never sees the outside of a prison again.

This is the ugliest thing I've seen in a while. Just prior to this coming out, I saw him on a segment on one of the NFL programs (NFL.com or ESPN). Dude was right their, smiling away and adding his two cents to the program.

The word 'predator' is what comes to mind. If he's guilty of all of these accusations, there's a book and they need to throw it right at him.
