It's not as dumb as your assertion that Brady is straight.

I'm sure Belichick and Brady are nervous wrecks because the Colts signed 34-year-old Deion Branch.

    Did Joel go away?

I want to discuss Peyton's playoff record when his team is favored by 8 points or more.

    Joel? You here?

It seems he is gone, what is Peyton's record when his team is favored by 8 points or more?

It's 2-3 which is not very good when your team is favored by such a large amount.

BTW, the current line has Peyton Manning and his Denver Broncos favored by 9 1/2. Uh oh.

Thank you for telling me that, I could never have figured out that it wasn't good on my own .

Yeah, but since you were defending his point (facetiously or otherwise) the response is valid for both of you.

I'm more interested in his playoff record AT HOME when favored by that much. Manning's notorious for calling, re-calling and often even calling OFF audibles right up till the playclock expires; it's hard to do that and be heard by the whole team each time when 70,000 people are screaming for his blood. Add in a playoff caliber opponent far more familiar with their stadium than the visiting team is and the whole "never won a playoff game <40°" stat plus many others become a lot less deterministic than simply descriptive.

Incidentally (and not that you brought it up,) the 40° "stat" in particular is egregious cherry-picking since it conveniently excludes a road playoff win where Manning played so oustandingly well his team not only won but NEVER PUNTED—at EXACTLY 40°. Tom Brady has NEVER won a playoff game when he lost by >1 pt: Be afraid.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

How was insulting weazel defending WTE's point? You are confusing at best.

Because it was a response to (and quoted) WTEs post? Because weazel refuting WTEs "point" prompted the insult? Am I moving too fast; would pictures help?

    WTE posted

"Joel, I just read your 1st 2 sentences. Stopped after that."

    to which weazel replied

"Joel I never read your post but I'm going to argue it anyway that was awesome!"

    WTE replied

"I only argued what I did read. I thought I made that clear."

That's when I insulted weazel because his suggestion was that WTE didn't read any of your post and argued with you but WTE made it clear he had read just the first 2 sentences so I was insulting weazel's reading comprehension

    your turn sherlock
