They are still patting everyone down, so either they don't have the shooter or want to make sure there isn't an accomplice

Hopefully its not littleton hospital. I know it is as it is just down the street but that hospital does have a lot of dumb people working there.
I just heard at least 1 victim is headed to Swedish.

Wheew, that is a relief. They will be just fine at swedish.

Another ambulance just went blazing by my work. Wonder if there are more injuries.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Reports are that the shooter committed suicide, but I haven't had confirmation of that

Edit; That is confirmed, suspect is dead of self-inflicted gunshot wound

1 student is in serious condition, the other injured student has 'minor' injuries

Student was targeting a teacher, apparently, and students confronted the suspect which is why they were shot

Does anyone know who the student was? What was their history?

Oh, man. I hope they don't give this kid all kinds of publicity.

They haven't released names of suspect/victims yet.

I wonder why finding a kid who's already passed away and no threat so time consuming? Is the school THAT large and they are THAT under staffed?? I dont get it. Im sure it cant be a clean scene...

I'm not sure what you are asking. They have no way to verify that that there is only 1 shooter. The suspect was found with potential explosives/incendiaries.

    That means 2 things;

They have to check EVERY student/person that come out of that building before evac.

They have to sweep that building spotless to make sure no 'devices' are left over.

This is not a simple job, and is a very dynamic situation.

It is a pretty large high school. Over 2000 students.

Having said all that, what do you mean by 'finding a kid who's already passed away so time consuming?'

Schools need to start letting any willing, responsible teacher carry concealed. I didn't say make them, I said let them if they want to and have a permit.

my school has a giant sign with "no firearms" as you walk in.
