  1. Default Manning Masters the Cold, Broncos Beat Titans 51-28

Peyton Manning saw a familiar face in Denver on Sunday as the Denver Broncos annihilated his former divisional foe, the Tennessee Titans. Although this game was close in score momentarily in the first half, it was not even close by games end. Manning, in his usual methodical way, picked apart the Titans and set a career high in passing attempts in the 51-28 win.

Although the score at the end of the game seemed one sided, it wasn’t always so clear.

The Titans came out hot, and marched down the field 72 yards on five plays for a touchdown. The Broncos quickly responded with a long 13 play touchdown drive that went 74 yards and ended when Wes Welker caught a one yard touchdown pass from Peyton Manning.

Leon Washington then broke a long kick return for 97 yards, and Chris Johnson topped it off with a three yard touchdown run.

The Broncos however wouldn’t let that hold them back, as Peyton Manning would throw an eight yard touchdown pass to Julius Thomas and Matt Prater would hit two field goals including a 64 yard record breaker.

The Broncos went into halftime down 21-20.

The score would never be so close again.

Because the Broncos deferred the coin toss, they were to receive the ball in the second half. They efficiently marched down the field on a seven play seventy yard drive that ended when Demaryius Thomas caught a four yard touchdown pass. The next Tennessee drive would end when Ryan Fitzpatrick was picked off by Terrance Knighton on a deflected pass and that set the tone for the rest of the game.

The Broncos would score four more times in the half and outscore the Titans 41-7 after the Titans were up 21-10 in the first half.

    Final score: Titans 28 – Broncos 51
