Thread: Cherry Creek Schools bus driver arrested on suspicion of DUI

A Cherry Creek School District bus driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a witness claimed he discarded liquor bottles during a field trip for middle school children with special needs.

Rodolfo Luna, 36, of Centennial was arrested Wednesday by Arapahoe County Sheriff's deputies after a concerned citizen contacted district officials around 9:28 a.m. and said they witnessed Luna discarding vodka bottles from the bus while it was stopped in a parking lot, according to a Thursday news release from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.

Luna then drove the nine children aboard the bus back to Liberty Middle School where he was told by security staff via radio to stay there so they could talk to him. However, he left, with the bus, according to the release.

I applied as a bus driver about 10 years ago and never even got an interview. I see this guy and other who have been busted for the same offense, and it baffles me as to why I was passed up and these idiots actually got a job driving kids around........unbelievable.
