I think the NFL needs to rethink what makes a TD. A runner can hold the ball across the goalline and have it knocked out right away and that counts because the ball crossed the line and the play is dead. A reciever has to catch the ball, cross the line and retain control throughout the fall (if they are falling). Why isnt the play dead right away as a runner would be? If a runner is falling and drops the ball after he falls across the line, it's not a fumble. Pissed me off during the game to see that. Play kept going backward after that.

The Hillman fumble takes us back to the ravens playoff game where hillman was run up the gut on 3rd and 7 for no gain...hillman is not dependable and shouldnt even be on the field any more...bring up cj
Id like to see hillman deactivated for a few games
Jesus, Manning looks like shit coming up to the podium for the postgame presser here...
They're down inside the 5-yard line, and they're going to power the ball in.
So what do they do? They put in, not Moreno, who has been successful on
the goal line, but the diminutive Ronnie Hillman, and they send him into the
middle of the line!
And why weren't they helping Clark out by chipping Mathis over there?
But the worst, I thought, was the TD they took away from Decker. He did
have control of the ball when it went over the goal line, and came out
only when he hit the ground - out of bounds.
But then, that wasn't what cost the ball game. It was the four turnovers.
Denver seems to have tried very hard at times this season to lose the
game, and today they finally succeeded . . .

I didn't think there was a DB on the Colts that could hang with D Thomas. The most frustrating thing to me, besides the 4 turnovers, were the terribly underthrown balls to him when he had one on one coverage.
Peyton looked completely spent at the podium.
