To be fair though, several of those points were set up by the fact the ball was turned over right by the goal line. The defense was actually making stops when it counted, but the offense kept choking.

not punting, our punter was solid
Especially on those 30 yarders in the first half.

We played like shit and scored 33. I'll take that as a good sign

I think the NFL needs to rethink what makes a TD. A runner can hold the ball across the goalline and have it knocked out right away and that counts because the ball crossed the line and the play is dead. A reciever has to catch the ball, cross the line and retain control throughout the fall (if they are falling). Why isnt the play dead right away as a runner would be? If a runner is falling and drops the ball after he falls across the line, it's not a fumble. Pissed me off during the game to see that. Play kept going backward after that.

The Hillman fumble takes us back to the ravens playoff game where hillman was run up the gut on 3rd and 7 for no gain...hillman is not dependable and shouldnt even be on the field any more...bring up cj
Id like to see hillman deactivated for a few games

They're down inside the 5-yard line, and they're going to power the ball in.
So what do they do? They put in, not Moreno, who has been successful on
the goal line, but the diminutive Ronnie Hillman, and they send him into the
    middle of the line!

And why weren't they helping Clark out by chipping Mathis over there?

But the worst, I thought, was the TD they took away from Decker. He did
have control of the ball when it went over the goal line, and came out
only when he hit the ground - out of bounds.

But then, that wasn't what cost the ball game. It was the four turnovers.
Denver seems to have tried very hard at times this season to lose the
game, and today they finally succeeded . . .

Yes, why was it not a TD. Why also was it not reviewed upstairs as all potential scoring play are subject to?

The Decker call was correct. It's the Calvin Johnson rule. On a potential TD, you have to keep possession all the way to the ground.

I didn't think there was a DB on the Colts that could hang with D Thomas. The most frustrating thing to me, besides the 4 turnovers, were the terribly underthrown balls to him when he had one on one coverage.

Only actual scoring plays are auto reviewed. Not potential ones.

Scoring plays are reviewed. It was ruled that it wasn't a scoring play.

Yes but something needs to be done about catches OUTSIDE of the endzone that cross the line, just as a runner would do. Anything after that should not matter as long as the reciever had control before crossing the line.....just my opinion though.
