Default Another classic comeback, for the ages!

Those of us fortunate enough to have had the Pats-Saints game piped into our region got yet another opportunity to witness the magic of Tom Brady at work in crunch time. I was left wondering how he was able to do it again, given the questionable array of available receivers he has at his disposal!

I confess, I was more than a bit concerned with the way that game was going, but man....what a finish!

Certainly a clutch drive by Brady.

I didn't watch the game but didn't he have 3 chances in the last 5 minutes or something like that? Any pro QB with three chances to score 1 TD to win a game should be able to do that.

He did make a HORRIBLE INT on the previous drive. They had 2 minutes and some change and he got greedy. It really made no sense at the point in time to go deep like that.

That was a good drive by the Pats, coupled with some pretty crappy clock management by the Saints in the last 3 minutes.

The Saints handed that game to the Pats after Brady handed it to them with a dumbass int with 2min left.

Yeah, the ending got sloppy. A few really stupid defensive plays by the Saints really helped him out. Letting someone go out of bounds...single cooverage on outside routes...etc

I can't believe that the Saints had two possessions with less than 2:45 or so on the clock, and couldn't whittle off more time than they did.

Two possessions and less than a minute of game time off the clock? That loss is on the Saint's offense in my mind. The defense did their job twice. Terrible clock management.

Looks like Jangles is the type to disappear after a loss, and return after a win...

    Thanks OR.

It was a classic comeback...made necessary after blowing a 17-7 halftime lead and giving up a 3rd-and-20 for the TD followed by two ridiculously awful possessions before the great comeback TD.

Kinda reminded me of the time the Broncos looked awful all day and trailed the Chiefs, 13-0, with three minutes to go only to see Elway produce two TD drives at the finish to win it, 14-13. Memorable comeback, yes, but where was this the previous 57 minutes?
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Great win but came at a high cost w/ more key injuries.

Amendola with severe head injury. Jared Mayo leaves game in a sling and a hip flexor for Talib.

I wouldn't be surprised if all three miss several games.

Tough year with injuries for New England.

Who could have forseen Amendola being injured so often?

Welcome to the club. By the time we play each other, the practice squads will be the starters

I'm wondering if the same is going to be true for Aqib Talib as well. All during the game yesterday people were sending out Tweets saying his value keeps going up and up and up. Then he gets hurt again.

Pulled a hammy in last year's playoff game against Baltimore and Patriots had no answer after that. And now a hip.

The coaches were breaking down the NO defense at the end of that game, and just couldn't express enough that not only was it bad playing, but the "fundamentals" were horrible. Even Harrison (who can't stop bragging about the patriots) couldn't defend how bad the Saints defense blew everything about that defense. Give a QB three shots to win a game, and something is going to happen positive eventually.
