Simple Google search came up with some info. I don't read where Clowney's draft position is falling. If he falls out of the top five (to be generous) I'd be surprised. The third article indicates Clowney is playing w/bone spurs in right foot w/surgery coming.

Clowney showing he's not just a pass rusher, Antonio Richardson is a 1st round prospect too.

5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
6th round— Cash Jones RB
7th round— Carson Steele RB
Clowney has always played the run well, even as a true Freshamn. He's never been a one dimensional player, fans and draftniks just get caught up in TFL and sack stats and just assume that's all he about.
It's amusing fans and draftniks are trying to compare Barr and Clowney and attempt to determine who the better player is by just those same stats. You just can't do it IMO. Barr plays a OLB in UCLAs 3-4 defense, Clowney plays DE in SCs 4-2-5 defense. Completely different positions and responsibilities. Just watch them play and you can see the difference.
When Barr rushes the passer he stands up and is lined up WIDE of the OT. He also asked to drop back in coverage which Clowney isn't. When Clowney rushes the passer he's got his hand in the dirt and is lined up OVER the OT. Huge differences.
Their both great players who's best football is ahead of them. But if Barr goes before Clowney or vice verse i seriously doubt it will have to do with scouts thinking one is a better player than the other, but more to do with who's the better fit for their scheme.
If i'm looking for a pass rusher and i'm running a 3-4 defense, Barr is my guy. If i'm running a 4-3 defense, Clowney is my guy.
I wonder if Gurley will declare after rehabbing.
