Thread: Twitter fixed?

Saw something other than a tweet about McGahee, is this fixed? And nice on the Spano Forum.

Yea, I think the twitter feed is fixed for good. They've made it very hard to auto-feed sites like i've been doing, but last night I finally found some good information on how to create a quasi-Twitter app and fun software on my test server to grab the new tweets. The only real question is whether or not is whether or not Twitter will throttle me for grabbing too many timelines -- ran into that with testing this morning. If they do, I'll have to come up with another solution.

I enjoy doing it. It's fun for me. Just sorry it took so long. I initially failed to find any solution after Twitter cut off the old RSS feeds of timelines. Then, starting in July, my world just became massively hectic. I have about a week of piece since I got back from Denver on Wed night, before things get crazy again, so I have been trying to catch up on things I've let slide.

I have no idea what any of this means.

Plain English -- Twitter has become a-holes and cut off access like we had, because they are trying to drive everything through their own apps, so they can force ad Tweets into your timeline every x tweets.
