Default Need advice for my first trip to Mile High

I'm a pumper for a large oil company. I work nights checking on new and problem wells. Also am on call for emergencies. Pretty laid back gig really. 7 on, 7 off schedule.

Pumpings not a bad gig, usually reliable work after the boom dies

Production is where it's at if you're thinking long term. Plus with being local I'm not really affected by the housing crisis. I live in a shop suite that I am part owner of and that has a 600 sq ft loft. We started an LLC and I am the "security guard" lol. I can see why outsiders come here and hate it. What's the point of moving here and working in a dangerous field if you're paying $2500 a month just for an apartment.

Right now I'm parked on a multi-well location watching World War Z on my laptop getting paid $32 an hour, so it's not all that bad if you can make it work

He is going to Denver, not Boulder. Or Buff's house. The only thing you have to worry about in Denver is hipsters. They scare easily, but they do come back. And in great numbers!

I don't mind hippies, they have good drugs. Now hipsters on the other hand...
