Production is where it's at if you're thinking long term. Plus with being local I'm not really affected by the housing crisis. I live in a shop suite that I am part owner of and that has a 600 sq ft loft. We started an LLC and I am the "security guard" lol. I can see why outsiders come here and hate it. What's the point of moving here and working in a dangerous field if you're paying $2500 a month just for an apartment.
Right now I'm parked on a multi-well location watching World War Z on my laptop getting paid $32 an hour, so it's not all that bad if you can make it work
