Thread: Patriot Day

I appreciate each and every person who does their work the best they can and tries to make America better. I appreciate the law enforcement, military personnel, fire department, ems, etc. You guys have a high risk, high stress job. I like adding an appreciation to anyone who gets up and goes to work. You get up not knowing what to expect. Flight attendants and pilots on 9-11 probably didn't see that happening. Workers in the World Trade Center. Random people walking down the street. Again, first responders. Everyone has a job to do. Even the garbage man. Every contribution matters. Go America.

Well said. Today needs to be remembered for what it is and for those who have come before us. It's as great a day as any to honor those who do all of those things you said.

That was, by far, the scariest day I've ever experience and I was a thousand miles away and have never been to New York City.
