THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
My guess is that he's a possible practice squad candidate.
I've always liked him.
Here is his draft profile. A poor man's Ray Rice who had problems with the fumbles in college. Looks like a good prospect, but not all that explosive. Having said that, some folks projected him to go in the 2nd or 3rd round.

USA Today Draft Magazine:
Pro Football Weekly:RD6
Strengths - Baker is a powerful runner who lowers his pads and runs with a low center of gravity. Works hard to gain yards and gets a good forward lean at the end of his run.
Weaknesses - He was MSU's second running option, which is partially why he decided to leave after his junior year. Largely unproven in the passing game, both as a receiver and as a blocker.
RD2-3
#1 Power Back
Upside - Chiseled physique. Low center of gravity and pad level. Runs hard, barrels through contact. Reads blocks. One-cut ability. Willing, face-up blocker.
Downside - Lacks ideal height. Some hip tightness. Average elusiveness. Lack an extra gear to break away. Carries loosely (9 career fumbles). Barely used as a receiver.
The way we see it - Compactly built with an NFL-ready musculature. Baker is a confident, competitive, intense back whose running skills translate to man- or zone- blocking schemes. Can be counted on to gain what is blocked, has tread remaining on his tires and pro makeup is a plus.
Rotoworld reporting Baker is on PS, this is sweet, I was hoping Denver would get smaller at RB.
