Putting aside all the inflammatory rhetoric, on both sides, I think we can all agree that Denver didn't look like the concensus #1 SB winner that some have predicted, last night.

A couple of positives, and many negatives. It's early tho, and they were playing in a tough stadium, against another potential SB contender. I'm sure no one outside the Denver locker room is panicking over one pre-season loss, regardless of how lopsided it was.

Naturally, I hope Denver has enough of these unexpected setbacks to deny them the #1 or #2 seed this season and finish behind the Pats, but I do feel your pain today, having witnessed a few disappointments myself.

I've been around a while, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a serious smack thread concerning pre-season football.

If the broncos win by 20 I'm not that impressed, if they get worked like last night, I'm not very concerned.

The only thing that I take out of pre-season is seeing if there is any young unknowns emerging and the hope for no injuries.

I mean really? We're talking shit about a pre-season game??
