    6mb/s is pretty slow, you should log on to netflix with your computer and go to the settings and choose medium quality on the streaming settings. This will use less bandwidth for your streaming and let your other devices be able to use more bandwidth, it will make the video quality on netflix worse though. Unfortunately that sounds like the problem though.

    As for ESET, I would stick with it, it's pretty good AV software.

    Thanks. As soon as I get paid I'm going to try out a new router anyway, just in case. 6 IS a little low, but it's not bad for around here. I'll check out those settings too. I didn't think about that. I didn't know it would change the settings for other devices.

    I changed my Netflix settings. It seems to have helped. I also was given a wireless modem, just like the one I have. But it was only used for a couple months, whereas mine is probably 2 years old.
