Looks like an excellent interpretation and rule to me. And, as Tned expressed, it
gives the mods a tool to work with in what can be a very difficult issue.

Regarding sanctions, since it can be "open to interpretation," as Davii said, I
would suggest that for a first-time ever offense, a warning would be issued
with the definition included and how the mods feel the "perp" is trolling. Ensuing
explanations with the same person should not be needed, and banning should
    be automatic. FWIW.

Come on guys, I know we all like to have some fun, but let's try and keep it to good on topic feedback like Top has done here.

I think we can all spot genuine trolls versus fans of opposing teams or guys that get under people's skins. I like Weazel's two-strike suggestion. If the bar is set so high as to constitute an infraction, there's really no need to give them three chances. I'm sure there would be single warnings before it got to a first offense.

Plus, this is not a democracy. If someone isn't coming here with the right intentions, there's no point in letting him/her hang around for months trying to correct their behavior.

What keeps the rude trolls around is people responding to them and engaging them in conversation. Then they get a few "buddies" on here , at which point they will never leave. Thats what they want, because they really have nothing better to do with their lives. Thats obvious.
If they get ignored, they will disappear. Maybe. lol

I agree. And I think I have done a good job of trying to do just that, in the face of some difficult opposition.

    NO! Don't say that!

Do you think those guys became part of the community overnight? King has been on this board since he was a kiddo. I've talked to WTE for over 8 years now. Guess what, they both took more shit than you're taking. They give it, just like they take it. Never know, you stick around and maybe you'll fit right in.

This is a good rule. We all know that something like this in the past would have expedited the process every poster that has been banned, sans maybe a few.

The wording of the rule makes it clear as to whom it applies to - everyone - and what a poster has to do to receive this form of ban. I like it.

I don't have a problem with King, and I think WTE has already vouched for me!

You don't think I take it well? You should be here, seeing me LMAO at all the chit I take!

You got some real hot chits here but I won't name them 'cause I don't want it to go to their heads.

Say, you seem like a real hard-ass case, but I like you anyways.
