For the most part, tattoos are a sign of weak-willed lemmings. They stopped being a sign of rebellion and self-expression about 20 years ago. Now, they are just a sign of somebody who is too insecure about how they fit in with their peer group. They no longer make a person unique. It makes them lemmings.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

That's the dumbest shit I've heard in a long, long time.

Really?? Would you tell a Green Beret or a US Marine that they are insecure because they have ink? Lol. I guess the piece I have with my kids feet print also makes me insecure.

Lol. Tattoos are only a sign of "weak-willed lemmings" when they are meant to be a sign of rebellion.

I've got a few. I have a skull looking thing with flames around it and my team number from my time in Iraq. A grim reaper, on my other arm. A scorpion on my inner bicep. My wife's name on a tricep, a winged warrior on my back and my oldest son' feet print from birth with his name. I need to get my other sons feet print too. I get addicted to this.

    Do you have any regrets?

I probably won't get any tattoos mostly because if I were to get one, i'd want it to be visible. And I also want to have a respectable job one day. It's quite the dilemma.

I have one. No regrets about getting it and always forget I have it. Though I will admit they have gone from being a taboo rebellious thing to something nearly everyone has. I guess I am a case in point. It took me a few years to finally settle on one, it can be a dangerous decision to make when drunk or on the spur of the moment.

I think you can make a point that some tattoos are dumb (like getting the name of your girlfriend you have known for two days on your forehead) but the actual act of getting one is very personal and I won't fault anyone for having one. Plus they look sexy as hell on some girls in my opinion.

You can still have a good job with ink. That mentality is dated.

Exactly. Just don't get anything above the collar or your hands. That appears unprofessional. I don't have any regrets. I worked in a position that I wore short sleeves all the time. I just never got ink at least an inch above my elbow and around. I figured they wouldnt show when I wear polos. They do show when wearing t-shirts.

In most places I think so. I never could get into tattoos. Why do you regret yours?

True, but there still are a lot of employers who don't wanna hire people with visible tattoos. My current employer for example avoids hiring people with visible tattoos. It's a pretty lame mentality IMO, but i'm going to be cautious of getting visible tattoos just in case.

I remember a news story that discussed beach fashions and revealed the boys had a science. The chicks on the beach with tattoos were expected to "put out" while the ones without them were tougher to get out of their pants. So, naturally, the boys that wanted some action went after the girls with tats, not the ones without.

Something to remember if you plan to raise any daughters.
