Gaining a vantage point into the strategy of the opposing team, and seeing things that you would otherwise not be able to see, and seeing things and recording them, isn't cheating? The last time the Patriots got caught doing this, the league also recovered scouting reports based off of that content. The clear advantage is obvious, and it is cheating. Because you disagree, the only logical explanation is that you're secretly spying on us and dong the same thing.

Disagreed entirely. You can look at a coach and see what signs are being made, sure. But when you tape them and also tape what the players did in relation to that sign you take two points of meaningless data by themselves and turn it into knowledge.

There is a rule against this for a reason and it's mostly because of the Patriots cheating. This is no different than the Astros scandal. Stealing signs is a MAJOR rule violation and should be punished VERY severely.

My guess is they do this to most teams. They just happened to get caught this time. The Bengals have a new coaching staff and the Pats probably needed to update their Bengals file. They probably do this to every team when the opportunity arises especially if the franchise had major coaching changes.
