Thread: "Trade down" ....Not so fast my friend

I'm glad Denver didn't trade back from the second overall pick two years ago, but this is not the same situation and I could see Denver trading up for a player if the situation was right, but I don't think they will. Elway's recent comments tell me that they're happy with the level of talent that will be available at the tail end of the first round. However, I could see them trading down this year a few spots if they're pretty sold that the draftees at the top of their board will still be there with that pick.

As there was when Denver drafted Clady instead of this kid, Wilson instead of this kid, Mobley instead of this kid, Thomas instead of this kid... It must be a common affliction for football fans.

I loved Clady coming out and was amazed that long went ahead of him. if Ryan clady plays at Bama or some other SEC school there's not even an argument.

I was amazed that Shanatan actually drafted a legitimate OL.
