In other words, if we fag out, I'm going to lose some weight.

    How do you like Illinois?

I think the more and more important it is becoming to have a degree, fewer and fewer parents will start holding this stance.
Fewer parents are holding this stance, but it doesnt make it right. I just think my kids need to earn what they get.

And financing an education isnt for me. I have been in debt once, I will never do it again. Its the closest thing to slavery that we have in the US IMO.
Thanks MO for the wicked Sig.

I feel bad for y'all. I love my job. Love it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go partake in company funded spring break-like activities. Oh, and get paid for my time too.

Does your company have a branch office in Phoenix?

I tell my boys doing the military option first should be an honor of serving rather just than a path for college, but getting the GI Bill is a bonus. I've already discussed this with them. I have witnessed, known and have seen more often than not, successful people go on that route. Having military and college on a resume gives even more advantages rather than just college. It all depends on the kid too and their drive to succeed.

My folks lucked out. They didn't pay a dime of college for the three of us. But we all knew we were going.
