Thread: Sirius/XM Mock Draft

Pat & Tim did a mock today with trades. They had Denver trading out of their spot with PHI for Trent Cole and the 125th pick.

Would you like this trade if it were to happen?

Trent Cole that has good chance of being release we are giving a first for? Not a good mock.

Cole would immediately be better than what we could draft. I'd do it

Isn't going to happen, Denver may trade down...but not for Trent Cole.

Cole much like freeney was miscast last year and on a terrible defense. I do it

Elway trading a first for a 30 year old defensive end and a 5th round pick? Not even close to being realistic.

Agreed. I dont think it would require a 1st either. A 2nd would get this done

He's likely to get cut, a 5th round pick could get this done...

I keep hearing speculation that Cole gets cut. Can someone post a link as to where this is coming from? The guy has been a fixture in Philly for years and is consistently one of the best past rushers in the NFC until last year in that horrid defense. Where is all of this coming from?

Nowhere that I've seen. If there is anything, it's just speculation based on the scheme change

I don't get it either. They aren't going to cut him even if they land Dion Jordan. Even if he is coming off a bad statistical year, his cap numbers for 2013 and 2014 are reasonable even for a rotational player. I think he can be had for a 2nd round pick but I don't see us taking that deal.

The speculations about him being cut have been coming from the local media in Philadelphia more then from anywhere else. He's 30 and had a statistically bad year, both could lead the team in going another direction, and a second round pick for a 30 year old linebacker? It won't happen, when you see wide receivers who are younger and have had better production that same year being traded for far less, I'll call bull**** on this one.

Throw in Demeco Ryans and Bryce Brown with Cole and you can have my 2nd round pick.

I lived in Philly. None of my guys are talking abouthis as being legit at all. Sure you'll have the random radio and blog personalities rant but that is Philly. I just can't see them cutting him. Babin is one thing. Cole is a Philly guy now.
