So you'd put Bo in right and leave off Otis, or leave off Cowan?

And for DH, Sweeney spent 13 seasons with KC, hit 197 homers with a .299 average. McRae spent 15 seasons with KC, hit .293 with 169 homers.

I think you could debate the two. MLB picked McRae and didn't even mention Sweeney.

I was going to question Brady Anderson, but not even being able to name another Baltimore CF off the top of my head, I went and looked at baseball-reference. And, yeah, Anderson is probably the guy. Paul Blair is probably the only person you could maybe put in there at CF.

    Here's MLB's Colorado list:
    2B Eric Young
    CF Ellis Burks
    RF Larry Walker
LF Matt Holliday/Dante Bichette (they picked Holliday)
    SS Troy Tulowitzki
    3B Vinny Castilla
    1B Todd Helton
    C Chris Iannetta

    SP Ubaldo Jimenez
    RP Brian Fuentes

Thought about Blair, but ultimately went with Brady based on overall numbers

I wish I could have seen the Reds in the 70s, or at least the 90s. So far, my biggest memories are Dunn, Casey, and Griffey. I like the group we have now. Anyways. That's off topic.

MO's list for the Reds seems pretty fair to me. Though he may have a bad reputation, Rose will always be one of my favorites. He did mess up. He lied about it. He did the wrong thing. But I think he always loved baseball and gave his best effort. That's enough for me.

I bought a Bench jersey a few weeks ago. It was 50% off, so I couldn't pass it up. They also had Don Mattingly on the clearance rack, I was tempted.

I'm going to try and make it up to Cincy for a game this year. Sadly, I've never been. The only game I've been to was DBacks/Brewers in the playoffs a couple seasons ago.

Anyways. Back on topic. I think the hardest list to make would be the Yankees. They've had a lot of big names.

Yankees are actually pretty easy to do.

    SS - Jeter
    2B - Lazzeri
    CF - Mantle
    RF - Ruth
    1B - Gehrig
    3B - Rodriguez
    LF - Dimaggio
    C - Berra
    DH - Jackson

    SP - Ford
    RP - Rivera

Off the top of my head, I can't remember how many HOFers the Yankees have, but you could make probably three entire lineups out of them.

    Quick internet search says 34.

Edit: don't know how accurate that number is.

I think the only two I would question would be catcher and starting pitcher, although I wouldn't argue to strenuously.

I would also take Bichette over Holiday, I think.

Going with DH for all teams...

    Royals:
    CF Amos Otis
    RF Willie Wilson
    3B George Brett
    DH Mike Sweeney
    1B John Mayberry
    LF Al Cowens
    C Mike McFarlane
    2B Frank White
    SS Fred Patek

    SP Brett Saberhagen
    RP Dan Quisenberry

I disagree with MLB at 1B, DH, C and LF.

    Rockies
    2B Eric Young
    1B Todd Helton
    DH Andres Galarraga
    SS Troy Tulowitski
    RF Larry Walker
    3B Vinny Castilla
    LF Dante Bichette
    C Joe Girardi
    CF Juan Pierre

SP Pedro Astacio (this one was rough)
    RP Brian Fuentes
Puting Mike Sweeney at DH instead of Hal McRae is a big mistake

I would almost put Torrealba in as the catcher. He was awesome for us when we made the run to the WS in 07'

I agree with MO's list. Astocio should be the starting pitcher and Girardi the catcher.
