Thread: Broncos are bringing in Freeney and Abraham

Colts free-agent DE Dwight Freeney scheduled to visit Denver tonight, per Ed Werder. Broncos also plan to host visit with John Abraham.

Sorry, didnt check the Dumervil thread. Figured this was worth a discussion of its own.

Should Dumervil leave which is looking more and more likely I wouldn't feel real confident in Freeney or Abraham or both adequately replacing Dumervil's production. It will be what it will be but losing Dumervil would impact this defense significantly regardless of what some people think.

Abraham would be the only one that would most likely put up the same numbers as Doom. Freeney would be a major step back at that position.

Which is why we should just sign both. If by the 4th preseason game one of them isnt really doing all that well then cut him.

I wonder what the price on each would be and if we could get them for 4 mill each?


Osi was my first choice because he is the better all around DE.
