I did something similar. Only 3 times a week. Fri, Sat, Sun. Once football season is done I might drop Sundays.

There are exceptions though, like this holiday weekend.

For me it was more about dropping a few lbs.

I assume this is a shot at me....no offense taken, BTW. It's called respecting your wife's wishes, and respecting the situation. Compromise is a good thing in a marriage. The beer will be there when she gets back, though the cravings have been there watching football.

I like a good beer after work to relax me, and a few on the weekend.

Had a Cucapá La Migra Imperial Stout last night... it was alright, nothing spectacular.

I decided to give Avery a second chance after the reverend was such a horrible beer imo, but this hog heaven barley wine is amazing. Probably something I'll purchase again in the near future

pudge, avery is absolutely one of the best breweries out there, IMO. . . if you like IPAs, look for the maharaja or dugana-- they're both straight-up hop bombs, especially the maha. . . and the czar is amazing if you like big stouts. . . so is the beast if you like BIG belgians-- that one's their grand cru, typially checks in between 13-16%. . . and ellie's is a perfectly good session brown. . . those are my faves. . .

I'm all onboard with Avery now, I'll give them a real chance. The Belgian quadruple ale wasn't my cup of tea though, what did you think of it? Maybe my tastes are just ****** up
