Shiner Cold Press Coffee Ale. Limited release but darn good.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

Me and some co-workers were discussing real German beer the other day (my bucket list is to go to an Oktoberfest in Germany). A couple were AF vets and an Army vet, who had been stationed there, and they said nothing compares to beers there especially off the draft. Are there any good German beers sold here in America that could compare. One of my coworkers suggested Ayinger. Thoughts? They all said Beck's is the Budweiser of Germany.

Im trying a Weihenstephaner Vitus Weizenbock. Definitely a unique taste from the American microbrews, or even the Samuel Smith's of England.

I have no doubt you are trying one buddy. There is no way in hell you could spell that without looking at the bottle!
    Well, how is the WVW!?

I just can't acquire a taste for hefeweizen. I bought a Paulaner today, which was a recommended beer, and I didn't finish it.

I will. It's in the frig. It's a sin where I come from to waste beer, even if it's a Schlitz.

Weisenstephener Heff is one of my favorites and I always have a couple in the fridge. It's also the oldest brewery in the world.

I had Avery Vanilla Bean Stout, last night and it was outstanding.

The Vanilla doesn't overpower the brew but gives it a nice start to the imperial stout, which finishes with the character of bourbon barrel age brew

Better at room temp then cold.
