As far as Barleywines go, my favorite is Weyerbacher Insanity. It's a barleywine aged in whiskey barrels.

I honestly haven't tried more than a few barley wines that I recall. The only one I recall looking was the collaboration between Rogue and Deschuttes.

Not bad, not great. Fairly light in the flavor dept. Mild citrus, moderate hop flavor. So light it almost finishes like a lager.
