I've spent the evening brewing what I hope will be a tasty English bitter -- my first beer ever! Rewarding myself now with a Fuller's Vintage '07.
Tonight the Victory 2011 Dark Intrigue fell. It was okay at best. Sometimes I wish brewers put as much time and energy into their brew as they do the naming, label, and marketing. Ok at best and forgettable.
Cleveland Beer Week last week, so got to have a few nice and rare brews.
Founders KBS
Bells Oracle
Hopping Frog BBA Naked Evil Barleywine
To name a few.
"There's a box of Twinkies in that grocery store. Not just any box of Twinkies, the last box of Twinkies that anyone will enjoy in the whole universe. Believe it or not, Twinkies have an expiration date. Some day very soon, Life's little Twinkie gauge is gonna go... empty."
Had the Elevation Apis Bee Dark Belgian Quad. I am not a fan of Belgians. However this one wasn't overpowering. It was a bit on the sweet side but an AWESOME brew overall. It would make for a nice winter holiday beer.
Just bought a bottle of Shipyard Export American Craft Beer - It is very average, glad i only bought one of them.
I have a Peroni Riserva Doppolo Malt (or something like that) - for later.
Alaskan Winter is out....I'll stock up,and go on a binge when the wife gets home. Just in time for the BRONCOS SB
I have moved a bottle of banana beer out of the garage and into the fridge
Their new American Pale Ale isn't as good as their original Pale Ale they stopped making because the hops were becoming hard and expensive to get. I had posted the article about it. I was extremely disheartened
This one.....
