Its amazing stuff. I have had one bottle in my life at Dogfish's recommendation. The 90 Minute is almost as tasty and way less pricey. I have a bottle in my frdge for the next Bronco win. I had planned to drink it after the Chiefs game

My rule of thumb during a Broncos game is I drink a Beer for every TD they score and one more for the win. Last Sunday left me damned thirsty.

Zywiec Porter at 9.5% ALC it a kicker. Good color and will sneak up on you if you're aren't ready for it.

The recipe has been used since 1881 and sometime it darn good idea to stick with tradition.

It was mighty fine! It was only my second beer of the day (the other was a Southern Tier Brewing Company IPA), as the offense wasn't super productive, but it was great for all that!

Tonight's dinnertime treat is the Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale (2008 Release). I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm pretty excited about it!

Hat tip to dogfish for his recommendation, months ago, of Avery's The Beast. Hands down the most intensely flavorful beer I've ever had. Like a bomb covered in dessert spices exploded in my mouth. I immediately bought a second bottle, which I'll be keeping locked away until the day I get my JD.

Also got to try the Dogfish Head 120 Minute. I have to admit, I don't really get it. It seemed like the malt kind of overwhelmed the hops. Not bad by any means, but I guess it really just wasn't the kind of beer I was expecting it to be. I very much prefer the 90 Minute.

Tried plenty of other good brews in the time I've been away from these forums. Will probably post about more of them as it occurs to me.

I go with the "take a swig after every play" technique. I've never been thirsty after a Broncos game.

It's wild. I've heard it mellows a bit with age, so it should be interesting to see what it's like three years from now.

The Harvest Ale was pretty good, sort of a bolder version of their standard pale. Didn't detect a huge difference from the wet hopping.

    That's an AWESOME list, dude.

I'm especially fond of Bell's Double Cream Stout. I love that stuff. If I had to drink just one beer for the rest of my life, I think I'd choose that.
    I win. ™
