Aaah, I forgot about this thread. I’m currently drinking a Georgetown Brewing Bodhizafa IPA. It’s one of my top 5 IPA’s.

First game day brew is one from a brewery I'd never heard of before, Old Nation in Williamstown, Michigan. Single Double, a single hop double hazy IPA-- this one is brewed with Simcoe. Bitey up front, extremely resinous with strong woody and earthy notes, and a big malt backbone. Very balanced for a DIPA.

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Went home to Ohio for turkey day, and had a couple excellent beers. Brew Dog's Hazy Jane was really nice for a regular six pack. And I had a true gem from some spot called DankHouse brewing out of Newark. Their Human Frequency American IPA is a monster. They don't even call it a DIPA, not advertised as dry hopped, but it is legit super saturated, far more than many brews I've had that carry those labels. Absolutely packed with layer upon layer of hop flavor (Citra, NZ Cascade and Mosaic, can't go wrong). Great mix of sweetness and bitterness, with pronounced tropical notes like guava and passionflower. Significant mouthfeel for an IPA, this bad boy is like a hop milkshake. I freakin' loved it, just wish I'd picked up a couple more.

I had a really good hazy IPA at a restaurant yesterday, from a local brewery called Lost Grove. It’s one of the best hazys I’ve had; very smooth and not too fruity.

I took a CE class about 8 years ago in Akron, and had a couple beers with a guy from the message board.

Nice. I didn't know anyone from the board lived around there, who was it?

I honestly don’t remember. He might have been from the team message board. In retrospect it was probably closer to 10 years ago.
