Just tried another one of the brewers project by Guinness... They take old recipes and remake beer from yesteryear
This one was called "hop house lager" because of the name i expected it to be hoppy... It was not.
Like a weak pilsner.

I don't like to drink in the morning, but once or twice a season I hang out with Redskins or Texans fans at a sports bar and oddly if I'm having beer at 10a Guinness kinda works for me. It's low alcohol and seems as breakfasty as anything somehow.
Those days are tough. Pacing.
I really like the Goose Island IPA - it is so drinkable
I need a beer, one of my customers was hitting on me today via text. She's almost 20 years younger than me. Yikes!
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers
They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard
This trip I decided to break my lager/pilz habit.
Been drinking ales and bitters. One was a wierd Christmas ale, rudolph something ale (had flashing lights on the tap), Abbots Ale, Tetley's something or other (not spelled right), something like Baknar bitter, and then an IPA of some kind. Can't quite remember all the names, but mostly English ales.
On the trip over, I had a founders porter, which was real good.
No I didn't ....I wasn't sure if I needed to. I've never actually met the girl. I've only talked to her a few times. She wasnt at the property when i scoped it. She never actually asked to meet me. She just asked me how old I was and then hinted she wanted to date an older guy.
I've been married for almost 12 years and have never cheated on my wife, nor do I have any intentions to.
I will probably never go to the job site again now that I know she's a liability risk. If I get the contract I'll just hand it off to my project manager and tell him to be careful around her. She's a tenant, not the property owner. So I don't really have to deal with her other than letting her know when people are going to be there, which my project manager is responsible for.
If she were to ask to meet me or become more forward I will just tell her I'm married. If that doesn't deter her then I'll tell my wife and my boss.
Two beers tonight; The first is Firestone Walker Brewing Velvet Merkin which is an outstanding oatmeal stout. The second is flying Dog naughty a Belgium Dark Ale which was horrible and I dumped.
