Got Lagunitas Day Time Ale. It relatively low ACL (4.65%) but has hint of bold west coast IPA. It's great beer for lunch or sitting on the porch and you want a lite beer.

Just wanted to publicly thank Tinker for the care package. One bottle that we suspect is the Pliney clone didn't survive USPS but the rest are in tact.

And if you haven't already, you MUST try Deschutes Mirror Mirror barleywine. It's awesome.

I probably went too far against Sierra Nevada in my frustration of Tumblr not being available. Sierra Nevada really did change the beer scene more than most and more than most would know.

It happens. But Sierra Nevada has some really awesome brews that I'm sure you would enjoy.

I had a pint of this last night on the hotel bar - Murphy's Irish stout.

It was so smooth and subtley flavoured.

Normally I like them in small doses, but I could have drank that Murphy's all night!

But wheat beers and continental lagers are still my favourite
