I don't think the Pats want to pay him that much. I think we if offer him a nice contract he is ours.

Slim makes a point. NE the last couple of years have really tried to stiff him on his contract stuff. He may be just trying to see how badly NE wants him to stay.

There's a lot of posturing going on and phantom quotes saying how the Pats offer was "laughable" etc..it may be true, but who knows!

Denver was inquiring about Jennings - and it's not like Denver has a ton of money being spent on the receiving corps. when all is said and done.
